Recently I posted an item on Hp Learning Center’s free instructor-led classes. Well, today I received their email newsletter letting me know what classes were about to start. One of the new classes is How to build your first website. This is a class I’ve been thinking of creating myself. Some people might be interested simply because they are the “Do It Yourself” type. But even if you plan to hire someone to build a site for you, it is a great idea to at least learn some basics. It will make it much easier for you to work with your web developer as well as run your site once it is built. Also it keeps you from being overly dependent or “held hostage” by your tech person simple because you haven’t taken the time to educate yourself. (But that is a topic for another post)
