Stumble Upon Endless Traffic

Driving Traffic to your site - If you build it, will they come???

When people first think about getting a blog or a website they are usually focused totally on how it will look and what gizmos they might use to jazz it up, etc. They fail to consider how they are going to get people to the site itself. It is definiately NOT a “If you build it, they will come” kind of scenario. On this site we like to point people to Michael Cheney’s Traffic Course. Michael’s material is some of the best I’ve seen around. And no doubt about it, it will save you months in painstaking research and trial and error testing which is why I like to tell people about it. (I’m all about saving time, energy and money).

Stumble Your Way to Traffic Success!

Recently tho I ran across another great course by Caroline Middlebrook on how to use StumbleUpon to drive traffic to your website. There are two halves to the course: the first half of the course consists of good basic lessons (these are totally free). The second half of the course covers more powerful advanced topics and you’ll need to pay a small fee to receive these lessons.

There are 20 lessons in all which are presented as an in-depth text lesson accompanied by videos (Caroline’s English accent is adorable!). There are also 20 videos though it is not quite one per lesson. All of the lessons and the videos can be viewed online.

What Does the Course Involve?

According to Caroline, the primary aim of Stumble Rush is to teach people in a step-by-step manner how to use StumbleUpon to drive lots of traffic to their website or blog. But be warned- there’s work involved! There are no tricks, no secrets, no underground programs, no dodgy little hacks, no exclusive membership sites to join - just good, honest use of StumbleUpon to the benefit of your website and the StumbleUpon community at large.

Each lesson is fairly long and so allow around 30-60 minutes for the study of the material itself in the lessons. But implementation is the key here - studying alone will not drive a single visitor to your website. For you to get any value out of the course whatsoever you will also want to follow along with the action steps provided at the end of each lesson.
